“Christmas in the Stars is without question one of the most beautiful concept albums of the 90s. Based upon George Lucas’s ‘Star Wars’ universe, it portrays a group of droids laboring under the mysterious crimelord named ‘S. Claus’. They are laboring to produce toys for toddlers, establishing a very humanitarian approach to such a grim topic of nonconsensual robotic slave labor. It flawlessly blends anthemic holiday songs with a hint of 80s new-wave and GY!BE-era post-rock, delivering the most unique experience ever, besides Radiohead. No other album of the decade quite captures this same feeling. Except Radiohead. 11/10”
